Opalite offers compelling benefits. It is hard wearing due to its final flexural strength of 1100Mpa plus can be polished to a similar lustre as type 4 golds, to ensure that it doesn't abrade opposing dentition. Milled from digital or traditional impressions using CAM technology, consistency and fit are guaranteed. Furthermore, being monolithic means no porcelain is needed, thus it is suitable for cases where there is minimal preparation space and can be employed in situations where occlusal reduction is as little as 0.5mm.
